“360 Degrees of Blackness” will be a live performance of 1970’s poetry and prose that has been gleaned from For Keeps Bookstore located on historic Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for 5-7 actors, actresses, performance/spoken word artists, or anyone who wants to try their hand at performing. You will be the mouthpiece for words that maybe haven’t been spoken aloud for over 40 years. Give these words life!

We are going to share something really dope with folks on October 10th, 2019.

Casting Call Information

In Preparation:

  • Be ready to read/perform a 1-3 minute monologue/poem/prose related to the theme of Blackness. Can be original material.

  • There is no age/gender limit, however we do ask that you be a person of the African Diaspora. Like, for real. No Rachel Dolezals, please.

Casting Call Days:

  • Saturday Sept 14th // 3pm - 5pm

  • Sunday Sept. 15th // 1pm-3pm
